About the Conference

This year we are celebrating 50 years of the IBM mainframe, hence our strapline, "50 Years of Mainframe, real Business Continuity!". In addition we will be celebrating 20 years of the GSE UK Region Conference with this, our 21st such event. For 2014 we return once again to the Whittlebury Hall Hotel for two days of intensive information across a broad range of topics.

As in the last few years we will also be featuring some hands-on workshops, in both multi-session and short "drop in" formats. We have also secured two excellent executive keynote speakers from IBM, Ray Jones for the opening keynote and Mark Anzani who returns for his popular "Birds of a Feather" breakfast session on the Wednesday morning. See the "Agenda highlights" section below for more information.

Conference Registration is now open - please click on the Registration link in the navigation bar above.

We look forward to meeting you at the 2014 GSE Working Groups' Conference which will take place at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel on November 4th and 5th. These pages will be updated as the conference detail is planned, so please return from time to time to see the latest news.

The conference is less than two weeks away now so we are not using the interested parties list any more, just e-mailing registered delegates with any updates. So the Register Interest link below no longer has any purpose.

The Agenda

The agenda is still being finalised by the conference organising committee, however the agenda page is now live. Click on the "Agenda" link in the navigation bar above to see the latest.

Please note that the agenda is subject to change and also that we are still on a beta version of the web code; if you experience any issues then please feel free to e-mail ukconference@gse.org.uk so we can get them fixed, however we do have a number of known problems with users who are still on IE8, so if you are one of those please bear with us for now.
